Maggie Reagh, MA in Teaching, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, YACEP is a senior teacher of Yoga Therapy having studied with her master teachers D.V. and Radha Sridhar in Chennai, India since 2001 in the Krishnamacharya-Desikachar tradition. For 15 years, she ran Yoga Therapy International (YTI), first training Yoga Alliance Yoga Teachers and then IAYT-accredited Yoga Therapists in one of the first accredited Yoga Therapy training programs in the world. She has also delivered both group and private Yoga Therapy classes for the past 25 years both in-person and online. As a parallel career, she was the program coordinator and faculty at Capilano University (CapU) in Vancouver, Canada for 30 years as an Applied Linguist researching Embodied Cognition and designing Experiential Learning curriculum. Her academic studies have included a BA (Honours) in Classics and Philosophy (U of King’s College) as well as advanced studies in Cognitive and Counseling Psychology (UBC). In 2025, she retired from both CapU and YTI to focus on leading Yoga Therapy retreats and continuing education for Yoga students, teachers and therapists from around the globe.
